O protocolo de rede mais popular do mundo, o conjunto de protocolos TCP/IP, foi concebido na década de 1970 por dois cientistas da DARPA — Vint Cerf e Bob Kahn, pessoas mais frequentemente conhecidas como os pais da Internet.
Na primavera de 1973, começaram por realizar investigação sobre comunicações de dados fiáveis através de redes de rádio por pacotes, tendo em conta as lições aprendidas com o Protocolo de Controlo de Rede (Networking Control Protocol), e criaram depois a próxima geração do Protocolo de Controlo de Transmissão (TCP), o protocolo padrão utilizado atualmente na Internet.
PCAP (Packet Capture) refere-se ao processo de intercepção, registo e análise do tráfego de rede à medida que este circula por uma rede informática. Todas as comunicações entre dispositivos — tais como a navegação na Web, a troca de e-mails, as transferências de ficheiros ou a atividade das aplicações — são transmitidas em pequenas unidades de dados denominadas pacotes.

SCOS TCP/IP Training offers the official Wireshark University courses as the European Wireshark University Certified Training Partner of the Wireshark Foundation of Gerald Combs, the creator of Wireshark.
Yes! We provide courses for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced professionals who are looking to use Wireshark with specific protocols. The basic knowledge is to be able to make traces and filters with Wireshark and knowledge of protocols and the OSI-model.
Yes! Our courses include a certificate of participation and we also offer official certifications.
